PERFECTION AT EVERY STEP

The production process at Richmar has been fine-tuned over decades. Our only standard is perfection, and we deliver it with each order.

THE ATELIER

Our atelier is built for one thing: to produce stone, and to do so gorgeously. We have the machinery, tools, and trade masters needed to work uncut slabs into pristine showpieces. Most importantly, the members of Richmar work in unison to form an optimal production line.

CUTTING

A simple enough start; we cut full stone slabs based on measurements you provide us. If you have a preference for which sections of the slabs are used, you’ll be able to meet with our cutter and trace a template over your slab. Additionally, if there are joints in your kitchen, you can specify where you want them placed.

SHAPING

After being cut, the stone pieces are left with sharp edges in need of finishing. We give the sides of the stone a detailed polish from matte to glossy based on your specifications. Our finishers then work the edges of the stone until they’re smooth to the touch. Numerous finishing styles are available, so let us know your preferred look and feel.

CUSTOMIZING

Our last step of production: we customize and finalize the order based on your specifications. Usually, this step involves cutting holes for kitchen or bathroom sinks. We’ll also add insertions for cooktops, outlets, waste dispensers, etc., if so desired. Then the pieces are given a final wipe-down, ready for delivery.

INSTALLATION

Richmar’s installers deliver the finished product right to your doorstep. Installations normally take 2-3 hours depending on requirements, and the pieces should be allowed 24 hours to set. Ask our installers about specific information regarding the maintenance of your material. After that, the stone is all yours – for decades to come.
